Ingredients
- 4 large bbq sausages
- 400g of beef mince
- One red onion, diced
- Two cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of hot chilli paste
- One tin of chopped tomatoes
- Sea salt and cracked black pepper
- Oil for frying
- 4 hotdog buns
- Good quality cheddar cheese for grating
- Chef ketchup
Method
Preheat your barbecue nice and hot with a large frying pan on it.
Add in some oil and then fry off the onion and garlic until nicely softened. Now add the mince and cook it until nicely browned.
Add the smoked paprika, chilli paste, and chopped tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
Once cooked, set aside and keep warm. Cook the sausages on the bbq until nicely cooked and now you can assemble your chilli dogs. Add the beef mince into the hot dog bun, grate on some cheddar on top, add the sausage and then finish with Chef ketchup. Enjoy.
