Halloumi Wraps

Ingredients

  • 100g Breadcrumbs
  • Halloumi cheese
  • 100g plain flour
  • 1 Egg and a Drop of Milk for Egg Wash
  • Oil for frying.
  • Chef relish
  • 2 x tortilla wraps
  • Fresh rocket
  • Lime juice

Method

  1. Firstly start by cutting up the cheese into nice sized goujons or fingers.
  2. Place them into the flour, then into the egg wash and finally in the breadcrumbs to coat.
  3. Heat vegetable oil on a medium heat and shallow fry the halloumi bites until golden all over.
  4. Drain them onto some kitchen paper and now assemble your wrap:
      • Add in the Chef relish
      • next the crispy halloumi
      • and finally finish with some rocket and lime juice
